 Steve Rubin
Steve Rubin started in photography back in the early 70's, including setting up his own darkroom, and taking summer photography classes at UMASS, Amherst, as well as photo editor of his high school yearbook and all of this before the age of 18.
Though Steve's career journey took him to be a very successful Information Technology consultant for over 33 years, his real love has been that of his family and photography. However, this twist on his career path actually has helped him. As a senior consultant to Fortune 500 executives, Steve has developed his listening and soft skills that have allowed him to be successful as a semi-professional photographer.
Steve's technical capabilities go beyond his possession of a mix of professional and semi-professional equipment. He is an active member of the Capital City Camera Club in Raleigh, NC, actively participates in competitions, takes courses from various professionals to increase and hone his skills, and gives back to the community through volunteer photography work with the following organizations:
